Rural Development Financing is a mortgage program that allows buyers to purchase a home with no down payment. All areas of Slidell, Mandeville, and Covington are now eligible for no down payment financing.
Recent changes to the Rural Development Mortgage Loan Financing Program have expanded the areas eligible for 100% financing. No down payment financing in Slidell, Mandeville, and Covington is now available. Certain areas of these communities were previously ineligible. At this time all communities in St Tammany Parish are eligible for no down payment financing through the Rural Development Program. Eligible areas include all of Slidell, Pearl River, Lacombe, Madisonville, Abita Springs, Covington, and Mandeville.
